Manufactured by Lioré et Olivier, the LeO 45 was a French medium bomber developed in the late 1930s. Known for its sleek design and impressive speed, the LeO 45 played a significant role during the early stages of World War II. It featured a streamlined fuselage, a twin-engine configuration, and advanced aerodynamics for its time, making it one of the fastest bombers in the French Air Force.

The primary variant, the LeO 451, was equipped with Gnome-Rhône 14N engines and carried a bomb load of up to 1,500 kg. Another notable variant, the LeO 455, was upgraded with more powerful Pratt & Whitney R-1830 engines, enhancing its performance. Despite the challenges of wartime production, the LeO 45 series remains a symbol of French innovation and resilience in aviation history.
