Extremely detailed and excellent sized model of the A-10.
I am waiting on this model A-10, however, I ordered and received the SR-71, and it is magnificent! On its stand, it actually looks like it has taken off and is climbing. I had the privilege of seeing one, and actually touched it! It felt like it was alive. The air police officer, stood by with an M-16!
Not Vultures!?
So on 15 February, 1991 when I was flying 81-0964 out of Temporary FOL Al Jouf, Saudi Arabia and scored an air-to-air gun kill of an Iraqi Mi-8 "Hip", she was in the livery of my 511th TFS "Vultures" deployed from RAF Alconbury, UK attached to the 354th TFW(P), King Fahd IAP, Saudi Arabia & her nose art was "Steal Your Face". Kinda wish the model reflected the way she was when she got her eternal green star (first, for a few months, ?? ) #ATTACK! Shanghai
